Bookhams Bulletin - Bookham Community Association.

The Bookham Bulletin appears quarterly and is distributed to every household in Great and Little Bookham. and reports activities and plans with articles of general interest and history of the villages.

If you are outside the village copies of the magazine can be obtained from the Old Barn Hall.

Bookham must be quite unique in its number of clubs and societies - within the Bulletin over 110 such bodies are listed. In addition organisations such as the U3As have there own internal interest groups which add almost another hundred to the list, many of which meet as smaller groups in private houses. You will find a whole set of other people who share your particular interests somewhere in the village - is it a craft, gardening, singing, dancing, acting, historical interest, sport and many other activities that take your interest? You don't have to be good at something to join in the activities. Joining in a club or society opens out your circle of friends - very often there is a meeting once a week. There also is an opportunity to join in the organisation of the group - your help is always truly welcomed.
