Polesden Lacey Gardens- have your say on 24th October
Do you enjoy the gardens at Polesden Lacey, managed by the National Trust? Thanks to a specific legacy, they have an opportunity to develop derelict parts of the garden – and want the community involved in doing so.
They very much want people to suggest projects that could improve the variety of spaces in the gardens, which could perhaps involve local volunteers in developing and running them, provide sensory or reflective spaces or just improve the overall experience. They really are open to all ideas and at 8.30pm on Thursday 24th October their Garden & Outdoors Manager, Alex Wigley, will be coming to the Old Barn Hall to talk about it. He will bring images of the areas that could be developed and explain some of the ideas so far.
You will be able to ask questions and suggest ideas, but also take the idea back to your contacts and groups to involve as many people as possible. This talk follows Bookham Community Association's AGM at 8 pm.
Please come along and bring anyone you feel will be interested
